Add a new event Title Description Contact Person Contact Phone Number Cost Ticket website Ticket Phone Location First, try to find a location in our database. You can begin the search for your location database by entering a complete or partial name, zip code, street address, or by city. For example you could enter "San Francisco" , or 94301, or "university Avenue", or "Palo Alto". A listing of locations will be displayed. Scroll through to find the location. If your location is not in our database, create new one by checking the "Create new location" checkbox. Categories Select all the categories that apply to your events. Find your event will use 'categories' to select your event. You might select dance, music, dance class, or festival all which can describe your event
Key words Key words are the same as categories, except you create the category for your own event! When someone searches for an event, our word database will include all the words from your description, the categories you select, and the key words you enter. So make sure to enter good key words! Separate each key word or phrase with a comma.. Typical tags might be "baseball game", "dance", "rave", "spoken word", "town hall meeting", "street faire", "singles dance". etc.
Performers Performers are a person, group, or organization that attracts people to your event. A performer might be a singer, a band, a sports team, an an an artist, a speaker, or a performance group. You can select up to 8 performers. select any individual dates. Calendar Left click a date to select that date.. Left click to deselect any selected date. Right click any specific day the month to select all months with the same day, such the 4th or 11th or 25th of the month. Left click any M to select all Mondays, W to select all Wednesdays,etc.
Sometimes when you have many dates you have selected too Holidays Associate your event with a holiday. When someone does a search for "Halloween events", but your event is not actually on Halloween, if you checkbox "Halloween" then your event will show up on their list!
