Scotts Events	People get frustrated when they discover an event afterwards. Event producers get frustrated when promotion is too expensive. ScottsEvents removes these frustrations by listing for free ALL events in the San Francisco Bay Area.
History of ScottsEvents	Hi, I am Scott. For several years now I have produced a popular monthly waltz dance, Friday Night Waltz along with two friends. We were frustrated because promotion was expensive and time consuming. After a while, I started emailing a list of waltz and vintage dancing events, initially called Scott's List of Waltz Events. The list became Scott's Waltz Events then finally ScottsEvents. The reaction was overwhelming! My list got emailed around and around.People wanted me to add their events. Eventually expanding beyond waltz, vintage, dancing, music and performances. I automated adding events. I expanded categories, dates selections, city selection. I feel I am helping struggling event producers to promote their worthwhile events, making the world a nicer place to live. .

What is an event?	An Event is a leisure, recreational, entertainment, social, spiritual, hobby, commercial, civic or professional activity that has a time, place, specific purpose and intermittent frequency, and public. Events are dances, garage sales, bowling tournament, chess tournament, antique show, pet show, county fair, movie, live music concert, swing dance, music performance, ballet, symphony, reunions, expositions and conventions, and TV listings. Examples of activities which are NOT Events: traditional retail store, school opening and closings, private events, commercial or civic openings, or any commercial or civic activity which is regular, long term, repeated activity on a year long daily basis. Any event that requires membership outside of admission fee is not considered an event for listing on ScottsEvents.

Let us host your Event Website	We are highly experienced in hosting your event, venue, or artist website. We can create catalogues, shopping carts for your cd's and clothing or other items, lists of ticket buyers, process the purchases for you, and forward the order directly to your location. We can also maintain multiple lsits of your emails, and create unique emails for your email lists.
How events get on ScottsEvents	We add new events two ways: 1) our staff enters the events and 2) event producers, event venue manager, groups, performers, and artists enters their own event. We encourage everyone to enter their own events.
Submit your event for free	You are welcome to add your event to our list. The process is very easy. Just click on the "Submit your events for free" option link on the main page. This will lead you to event entry pages. Each page will ask for event title, event description, event date range and date repeatabilty, event locations, event contacts, and event "attractions". Free, no cost to enter events.
Subscribe	While all the basic searching for events is free, some people want to have additional services, which are available under our subscription services. With a yearly renewable subscription of $10, you have the options of automatic email of your specified event parameters. Emailing of event listings may be daily, weekly, or monthly. Also, with your specified events, you may opt to have your parameters automatically enabled when logging on, so that the listings are displayed when first entering ScottsEvents. Subscribers also get advanced notice of special events. Occasionally. ScottsEvents co-hosts fun events, and provides either discounted tickets or advance tickets sales to the subscriber list.
Privacy Policy	We do not sell, trade or give away information about ScottsEvents subscribers, event producers, event venue managers, or events attractions.
Sponsored pages	Create 1/8 web pages of anything for a sponsored pages. These pages show up on our sponsored pages, and are a very low cost method of reaching self selected high value audience for your products, services, or events.
